Welcome to Cambsac's website

We are an active friendly BSAC registered diving club based in Cambridge with around 50 members. We organise dive trips every year to various locations around the UK and abroad and also regularly dive the North Norfolk coast from our two club boats. We also have our own compressor with free air fills available to members (Not commercial diving club)

We offer BSAC training to our members from Ocean Diver to Advanced Diver using our own team of volunteer instructors. We also regularly run Skill Development Courses throughout the year

We welcome divers from any recognised diving organisations (PADI, SSI, CMAS etc) at all level of qualification. If you’re not originally BSAC trained there is a straightforward induction process which recognises your qualifications and allows you to start diving with us immediately in most cases. To find out more, please have a look at our contact us page and ask.

31 October 2014 Night dive - Gildy

July-Aug-Sept 2014 The weather's improving so we're diving out of Sea Palling again. Viz is very variable from 15m early in the month to a more standard 5m on the 20th July. Make sure you come on a Thursday night to the NCI as the places go quickly. We normally wait until the last minute to announce the trip so we can be sure the weathers going to be favorable.

Wrecks dived so far include a couple of unknowns, the Ethel (24m) , the Aster (32m) and the Artemisias (24m) twice as the shot got left behind after the first dive . Vis on Sunday (27th July) was a respectable 8-10m with a playful seal encountered on the wreck. Aug 2 we dived the Walkure with similar viz but with a rough ish sea

13 Sep 2014 Scillies Trip We have the dive boat booked for 6 days from Sunday 14th September 2014 and are diving with local skipper, Dave McBride, who runs the hard boat Tiburon. Contact Dave W for details. (Think this may be full now)

14 Jun 2014 Plymouth trip. We are taking our own boats so we can choose dive sites etc. We are hoping to dive a couple of sites in the 40m range on this trip to give more advanced divers some new things to see. There are lots of nice wrecks & reefs reachable from Plymouth for those who haven’t been before. Great dives in depths ranging from 15-25 meters, suitable for all diver grades. Diving air or Nitrox, food & drink all available within 5-10mins walk from the slipway where we launch the boats. Contact Dave S for details. Spaces still available

26 Mar 2014 Tobago Trip. Arranged through Oonas divers. Contact Colin T for details.
